Our room wasn’t quite ready for us at check-in time, but Shelby managed the delay well by offering us a complimentary drink at the bar. While the breakfast staffing was a bit minimal, but they were super nice and efficient. The South Forest room was cute and clean, and the temp control was perfect. All around nice stay for three nights.

Relaxing retreat overlooking Cayuga Lake. Beautiful drive along Gorge Rd to the fall’s trails. Serene setting with the scent of lilac in the air. Sounds of birds chirping, water fountains flowing, and light jazz playing in the evening. Nightly fires outside the Inn to sit and relax after a lovely day at Cayuga Lake and the surrounding areas. Watching the sunrise from our balcony was delightful.

The Inn was delightful and exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Rose Suite, which was spacious and well appointed. Comfortable beds, terrific shower. The restaurant and some amenities weren’t available because it was late March so off-season, but the grounds are beautiful and the breakfast was very good with excellent variety for continental. The falls are immediately past the Inn, an easy, short hike.
