The old town and the golden temple are both amazing. Be sure to visit the golden temple by day and by night. It's very beautiful and moving when prayets are being sung.

Amritsar is a great place to visit. If you take the 11am shuttle from this hotel, tour of Golden temple, Jallianwallah Bagh, photo opp and lungar lunch all can be done by 2.30/3pm. You can head immediately go to Wagah Border and back at 8pm.
