"This is truly a little gem. An amazing, tastefully restored period building. It is also the owners home and it shows in all the fine details and attention. The building is amazing, spiral staircase, old fashioned bell pull and giant key locks. The rooms tastefully in keeping with the half timbered style whilst still managing to host all modern amenities. The breakfast selection was outstanding and uniquely informal. All fresh local produce....mmmmm. Best of all was the hospitality of the host...

"The reception was outstanding. We arrived early and were made to feel most welcome. The room is large, modern and lovely. Everything is first class, bedding, towels , etc. Breakfast was great and plenty of options. The hotel is a pleasant short walk from the old town centre. Parking is very limited but not an issue. There always seems to be free street parking right outside the hotel. A lovely stay all round."

"We first stayed at this hotel in 1986 and gave re-visited several times since. The location is fantastic right in the centre and beside the public car park and lift up to the chateau. The hotel has been renovated and extended over the years and is now even has a roof terrace for chilling out in after a days touring/cycling. The owners have changed over the years and the current owners, Romain & Romain, are wonderful friendly hosts, as are the rest of the hotel staff, We thoroughly enjoyed our...

"This was our second stay here. They are constantly improving the facilities and have outdone themselves this time with the great food and service. There are plenty of activities on offer which were perfectly explained in English on our arrival. The accommodation is simple yet functional, with views of open fields and Lamas!"

"We really liked this very pretty and comfortablel hotel, we had a lovely time there, the pool was a welcome sight as it was hot while were there. The room was comfortable and very clean with a good shower etc. The restaurant was also really good. A special thank you to the ladies on reception for being so welcoming and helpful. We hope to return again soon. A small thing that would be nice in the room would be tea/coffee making facilities. We highly recommended this hotel."

"Jardin Haute Couture is very special. Coco is a wonderful host, and my husband and felt like guests in a beautiful country home. The decor is eclectic and fanciful, the bed was comfy, and the views are so pretty. The food is delicious. I hesitate to say too much for fear there won’t be a place for me!! "
