Food offering during day could be more varied,again some really excellent restaurants in town. Overall a pleasant and well presented hotel."

"We got the room with the loft, very clean and spacious. Only stayed for one night, the rooms are much better than pictures shown. We are a family of 5 and first time in France, stayed in a few hotels from Nice to Paris, and my kids like this property a lot. The front staff is nice and helpful. "

"There was a calm, genteel feel to the hotel and grounds, a sense of grandeur past. The staff were helpful and polite. The grounds were lovely and we enjoyed having a leisurely breakfast in the gardens. It would have been good to have some help taking heavy bags up the stone stairs as there did not seem to be a lift/elevator."

"A quiet place to relax. The receptionists were unexperienced , wanted to charge us per day not night. The insisted to pay for three days, but we stay only two nights 😔"

"There was a very loud 'beach party' event, which happens every Tuesday. The noise reached rooms, and went on until very late. The event means no room service is available, and the only dining option was to join a loud party. This would be fine if wanting this type of experience, but while travelling for business, it was not ok. I feel like the hotel should warn guests at booking that this is happening so they can decide if it's what they're looking for. Staff are rarely stationed at reception,...

"We purposely returned to this hotel in Nimes due to our previous stay. The staff are all pleasant, and decided to extend our stay for another night."

" A beautiful hotel with a very friendly and accommodating staff. The smaller but well maintained pool area was a perfect afternoon siesta location and the beach is meters away! The beach bar was closed do to extremely high winds understandably. Our room was exceptional and had the perfect view of the Mediterranean while we sipped local wine and enjoyed our anniversary. 10/10 would recommend and stay again! "

"If you want to sleep close to the highway for one night is Ok. Room pretty small, bathroom doesn't have ventilation. Workers in the reception very nice! and breakfast very good! Overall you get what you pay for..."

"This hotel is in an industrial zone with no charm; but that is not the problem. The clientele is trashy--purple hair, tattoos, etc.--and the halls smell. The staff is indifferent. In short, this is a hotel for lower middle class and below. The saving grace is that the room was quite clean."

"Nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Pedestrians and vehicles can only enter the property via a security gate - you have to press a button to get reception to open the gate. There's a pool and two slow EV chargers. The room was clean with working air conditioning. Good breakfasts with cooked and continental offerings. Quite some way from the city centre, not really walkable for most people. "

"The Mercure Hotel has a great location and is a nice and quiet hotel. It is dated but still fairly acceptable. We really enjoy their people and the restaurant is very good. Breakfast in the mornings is good but repetitive. It could use some variation of the buffet or maybe offer a menu for persons staying there for a long time. "
