The Mount Inn
"Great little pub with amazing food, rooms have everything you need and the staff were amazing. Left out glasses behind and they found them and posted them back. Will definitely be back again."
The lion hotel
"The Lion Inn is an old building so one must make allowances for this which we did. The whole layout of the Inn is somewhat querky with dark coloured decor punctuated with glass wall displays which I assume were the work of Andrew Login, a local sculpture. The rooms were equally decorated in bright colours, each having a unique theme. The bathroom was modern with an excellent shower. All in all, we spent a very comfortable night with a good cooked breakfast in the morning."
Queensbridge Hotel
"When we arrived at the hotel for our 1 night stay, we were informed that we had been upgraded to an apartment because there was an issue with some of the rooms due to a leaking roof. It was a bit disruptive, but the disruption was worth it because the apartment was great. The breakfast was good too."
Harleys Aberystwyth
"This is still a fairly new venture for the Harley team and they are doing a great job. Its in a small central street of Aberystwyth and only a few minutes walk to the wonderful sea front promenade which is an absolute must daily to walk along to watch the tide come in or out or go for a swim . Bars and great variety of eating places are all nearby. Theres so much to do and see in Aberystwyth and the Tourist Information is again only a few minutes away. This is Wales and so the sun may not always shine but the sea air is so healthy -and I love it. As I do the small independent shops, Art exhibitions, events programme. Mountain walks . Sense of ancient Aberystwyth traditions sit comfortably with modern amenities here. Its great value for the price of a nights stay.I had four nights here and found the spacious room and ensuite really clean and slept better than I do often at home! There are stairs in this small hotel but the staff are a phone call away to help with carrying luggage if needed. Im a senior and felt instantly relaxed here. Really comfortable bed and pleasant issues are soon sorted out by the lovely efficient friendly staff. I look forward to my next stay."
Lake Country House Hotel & Spa
"Lovely place, great rooms , staff are a credit , wonderful place to relax"
Penrhos Park
"Amazing place, stayed in the hotel part, lovely room, very friendly staff. Swimming pool very clean& restaurant & food were very good, will definitely go back and stay next year x"
The Dragon Hotel
"The staff were extremely helpful in answering the many questions that we had given that this area of Wales was new to us. This is a very old building which makes the level of cleanliness throughout the hotel very impressive. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the serving staff were very attentive at all times, particularly To summarise, our stay was a very enjoyable experience."
Celtic Bay Guest House
"We are both well through our 80's so to find our room was on the 3rd floor with no lift was an unpleasant surprise. Fortunately, with help from the receptionist, we were able to endure the climb. Good, pleasant room overlooking the beach."
Macdonald Plas Talgarth Holiday Resort
"Beautiful location. Wonderful apartment. Very surprised to find such a nice 2 storey apartment with beautiful views from the bedroom and living room balcony. Great location to explore the area."
