The best thing about this hotel is the location and walkability. Negative for me was the noise. I was on the first floor (open air hotel, you have to enter your room from outdoors) a large family congregating outside early in the morning was being extremely loud, both the kids and adults. I couldn't get back to sleep. When I first entered my room it had a very heavy bleach smell. On the bright side, that indicates they care about cleanliness. Suggestion for staff - after cleaning, open some windows to air it out. It's a few blocks to Palace Kitchen (on of my favorites) and the Cinerama theater. 10 minute walk to Pike Place. Overall good value.

While the room was clean, the amenities were lacking. The breakfast wasn't anything special & the room could definitely be updated. It appeared that most things were jerry-rigged and that the bathroom was not well kept. The staff was nice, however.
