"We stayed for a quick night stop half way through France. We picked this place because looked interesting and glad we did. Place was amazing. It was different than boring hotel rooms. It was very comfortable, very clean and cosy. The person (I believe he was the owner) was very kind and friendly. We had a amazing comfortable evening and continued our journey next morning but we would definitely stayed for more. It's unique place. Very quiet and tranquil. Definitely recommend here"

"Le Moulin Bregeon offers a unique opportunity to stay in a converted water mill. Much thought and attention to detail went into the decor and restoration. It's off the beaten path and can be a challenge to find so prepare beforehand as it was not listed in our GPS. It is also a long distancel to the nearest city and popular sites.

"Sadly the rainy day didn’t show place very well. However lovely setting. Bed was too soft and a bit tired. Room was in need of undating. Towels were very thin and small. "We stayed for just one night and were blown away by how stunning the chateau and its views. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and attentive without being fussy.
We stayed in the Napoleon suite which had incredible views of the Loire from the balcony. The room itself was huge with beautiful period furniture and features. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was very clean with double sinks and shower and all necessities supplied were good quality.
We enjoyed great food and wine in the restaurant with a 3 course meal plus some additional delicacies.
We definitely felt like we’d had a chateau experience and would recommend as a beautiful place to stay

"Markus, formerly known as 21 Foch, just opened. It is a lovely 14-bedroom, boutique hotel. A coffee shop and beautiful outdoor space is slated for completion by September 2025, but guests may partake of breakfast onsite before then.
The hotel is close to the train station, and centrally located to attractions, shops, and restaurants. Despite proximity to the city landscape, the facility is quiet and peaceful. My room and the common areas were meticulously clean. The staff are accommodating and friendly. The beds are comfortable, the towels are thick, and amenities such as coffee, tea, and water are readily available. I would return here again and again!"

The owners have great pride in the place and attention to detail shows at every corner. The only letdown was the small number of staff, that impacts the service a bit. Still it is excellent value nd recommend to stay more than a couple days to truly enjoy the place. "

Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it.
