"It was a pleasant change to stay in a smaller hotel that had a family feel about it, as opposed to a large soul- less corporate hotel.
The staff were friendly, pleasant and courteous.
My room was very nicely decorated and filled out, and the en-suiute was spotlessly clean and looked as it it had been recently installed. I also had the benefit of a terrace that I could sit out in.

"Très bon séjour
Hôtel en face du port, avec parking gratuit
Chambre spacieuse et propre
Accueil lent, nous avons sonné 5 fois et attendu 10min
Bruit des pas de la chambre au dessus "

"Camera venduta superior ma incredibilmente piccola. Guardando la piantina era la più piccola, perché chiamarla superior quando non esistono camere inferiori?!?! Ritengo sia un modo per aggirare i clienti"

"It's a great hotel! Location is perfect. Quite, great views, short walk to the beach- the best at Corsica, I think.
Food is not so perfect though but we loved the ambience so much that we had all the meals in there anyways"

"Great hotel, rooms with own design and comfortable beds. Very practical location not far from Bastia Center and on the route to northern beaches. Sea view with good breakfast and restaurant services, close to local amenities (including pharmacy, fruit store)"

"The good thing about this place is the location. Besides that the toilets have black ringside yuk! I felt sick, and even my husband notified the reception. When, we arrived they just look at how I was struggling to walk and carry the luggage , but offered no help at all. Finally, the lobby was without AC, I understand they don’t want to spend a lot of money but at least the could have some portable fans."

If you're in central Pino and want to top up your tan, you might want to head out to Plage de Scalo. If you want to continue walking by the waves, head to Plage de Giottani and Alisu.
"Was an absolutely amazing hotel! Such historic charm combined with modern conveniences. The AC in this hotel was the best AC I’ve experienced in Europe! Such a great location in the center of town. Short walk to the harbor, the train station, and all the town sights. Great restaurants and patios all around. It’s a €75 taxi or uber from the airport to this hotel, but there is a bus that will take you and drop you off a short distance to the hotel for €10 cash only.
I recommend staying here!"
"Had a wonderful experience with Hôtel Flor, the owners were very receptive and welcoming, even when I was running late (due to car rental delays at the airport). They speak a little bit of Italian and English too which was very helpful. The hotel itself is conveniently located, off the main square in Saint Florent.
Rooms are a great size with all the basic amenities required and AC. Very clean hotel overall and they have onsite & off site parking available too(must inform them ahead of the trip). It’s a safe and secure hotel. Would highly recommend if you don’t want to stay out of town."
"We really enjoyed our stay here and wish we had stayed longer. The hotel provided everything we needed and the staff were really friendly and helpful."
"Reception closed at 7:00 and we didn’t get there until 10:00 because of car problems in Bastia. They came in after hours on a holiday to check us in. They were very friendly and helpful.
There is a little market and boulangerie right down the road that is so good. "
"My friend and I stayed here after doing the gr20 it was an absolutely amazing stay Joseph was very helpful as were the rest of the staff. Good location and good food. Also great restaurant up the road on the beach. "
"Such a great experience! The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the amenities are perfect. There is a beautiful rooftop pool deck which was perfect as the weather was quite hot for June. I travel frequently and this is the best hotel experience I have enjoyed in years! Highly recommend. "
"excellent location between bastia and the
airport
10 min to the port and the citadel which has 24 hour parking
15 min to airport
6 min drive to beach which has free parking not a walk to the beach tho "
"Air conditioning failed to cool room even in May. Room was very hot and could not open windows due to noisy outdoor party with DJ next door until 3pm."
"The room was not huge, but clean with a comfortable bed. Reception was polite and very easy..
The hotel looks kind of isolated when you arrive, but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants within 200 to 600 meters in pretty much any direction.
The hotel is very nice and Bastia was a really fun place."

The hotel was very convenient for walking in to Macinaggio that has numerous bars and restaurants to be enjoyed and there is a really safe swimming beach just north of marina.
The area is a complete treat and comes highly recommended .

"The Residence Catalina is a fantastic property, ideally located in a quiet residential part of Saint Florent. It has ample parking, but is within walking distance of the town centre with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants.
The accommodation offered is 1, 2 or 3 bedroom apartments with outdoor seating (balconies or terraces). The apartments are modern, clean and very functional.
We exchanged our two bedroom apartment / 2 bathrooms with balcony for a 2-bedroom / one bathroom and ground floor terrace as we preferred to have access to a BBQ grill. This was granted and worked exceptionally well. Can't fault the Residence Catalina - EXCELLENT."
"Our first room was disgusting. The AC unit leaked, wallpaper peeling off the walls, the door paint was coming off, and the room and bathroom looked nothing like the pictures. Once we complained we were given a junior suite which was as nicer, but still not great. The bed was falling in like a cardboard box.
On top of all that, not once did they ask for identification, nor did they provide a code to get back into the building after 10. Stay anywhere else. "
