"I enjoyed the funky decor at this hotel. There are no elevators and the first floor in Europe is equivalent to what we consider the second floor in North America - if your luggage is heavy you will have to carry it up stairs. The location had free parking and is very quiet - easy access to Giverny if you have a car. We stayed for one night and had a comfortable stay. "Cheap and cheerful hotel but ideal as a stop-over on our way to Dieppe. Staff in particular were absolutely outstanding. So friendly and helpful. "

"Breakfast is good, with proper baguette, croissants and pains au chocolat from a bakery, not the frozen stuff. Apart from that, soundproofing is poor in the room, no air conditioning meant I had to keep the window open and so had to hear every conversation from the terrace just next to my room until late (hotel is built as an atrium, so any noise echoes twice as loud). Carpet hadn't been vacuumed properly (clothes' tags still on the floor), room looked tired and not as clean as expected. "

"Very friendly receptionist on check-in. She noticed my wife was not very steady on her feet, so changed our room to an accessible room in an annex on the ground floor.
