"We loved our stay at Hill End Lodge. The room was large, bed very comfortable with tea & coffee facilities in our room. The host was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee’s, the evening meal was delicious. The Lodge is set in beautiful bush surroundings, such a pleasure to be greeted in the mornings by the in house chook & roaster, parrots and rosellas. Highly recommend you stay, when visiting Hill End at gorgeous historical town. "

"A beautiful stately home and well worth a visit. The grounds are gorgeous. As it is a public space I felt a little unsafe when I was alone. The Irish room was very small and despite the lovely bathroom was a little prison like with only having skylight windows. It has heaps of potential to be a sumptuous place but there is little attention to detail and I felt the rooms are in dire need of an upgrade and deep clean. "The three bedroom Unit is modern, fully furnished and tastefully decorated. The small courtyard out the back was perfect for my husband and I to take in the afternoon rays and drinking hot chocolates in the early evenings (3-5 May 2025- a little chilly 9 degrees at night). The Unit is approx 5 mins. drive to the main street in Orange - Summer Street. We enjoyed 3 days in beautiful, historic Orange visiting family and wine tasting at the many vineyards in the area. "Lovely accommodation in the main part of Orange. Comfortable and clean and a great option in the area for those who prefer hotels over motels. Felt safe and secure. "

"The apartment was very nice and clean. The reception staff were friendly . The only aspect I didn’t like was, that the apartment wears extremely dark due to a fixed sun shade construction on the balcony. It was almost pitch black without the lights on during the day. The area is rather industrial, but the walk to cafes and restaurants is very short. "
