What details do I need to apply and what information will you review?

To apply online, you’ll need a Social Security number and income information. We review the information provided on your application and other information about your creditworthiness.

What should I expect after I apply online?

Once you’ve submitted your online application, you’ll receive the status of it on the confirmation page and we’ll send it by email too. If your application has been approved, it will include your credit limit. If we need more time to review your application, you’ll receive an application ID to check its status.

What is Hotels.com® Rewards?

You will collect one stamp for every night you stay at an eligible hotel or vacation rental. Any stamps that you collect will be added to your account within 72 hours after check-out. Once you’ve collected 10 stamps, you’ll get a 1 reward night at an eligible hotel or vacation rental. The value of your reward* night is equal to the average rate of the 10 stamps you collected. Hotels.com Rewards Visa Credit Card cardholders will earn one stamp in the Hotels.com® Rewards program for every $500 spent in net purchases (purchases minus returns and credits) using your Hotels.com Rewards Visa Credit Card. You must have an open and active Hotels.com® Rewards membership in which you are earning stamps in US dollars to earn stamps with your Hotels.com Rewards Visa Credit Card. ATM transactions, cash advances of any kind, balance transfers, cash equivalents such as money orders and prepaid gift cards, casino gaming chips, wire transfers, off-track wagers, lottery tickets, or bets or wagers transmitted over the internet, fees or interest posted to a linked account, including but not limited to returned payment fees, late fees, and monthly or annual fees are not considered purchases and do not earn stamps. If your Hotels.com® Rewards membership is closed for any reason and you retain your Hotels.com Rewards Visa Credit Card, you will no longer earn stamps. Refer to the Hotels.com Rewards Visa Credit Card Rewards Program Agreement Terms and Conditions for additional details.
You can only redeem your stamps at Hotels.com®. Stamp redemptions may be nonrefundable. Refer to hotels.com/rewards for details. The redemption value of the Hotels.com Rewards Visa Credit Card stamps for the purpose of determining your reward night is currently $110 per stamp. The redemption value of a reward night is based on the average of the 10 stamps you earn at Hotels.com from the use of the Hotels.com Rewards Visa Credit Card and from eligible stays booked through Hotels.com (the “reward night”). When you book and stay 10 nights at an eligible Hotels.com® Rewards property, you will earn one (1) reward night at a Hotels.com® Rewards eligible pre-pay property. The maximum value of the reward night is the average daily rate of your 10 stamps collected, excluding taxes and applicable fees. The value of your reward night does not count towards any taxes or fees. You may pay the difference if you choose a room that costs more than the value of your reward night. You must have an open Hotels.com® Rewards membership in which you are earning stamps in US dollars to receive Hotels.com® Rewards Silver membership. You will continue to automatically receive Silver membership as long as your Hotels.com® Rewards Visa Credit Card is open. Only the primary card holder is eligible to receive automatic Hotels.com® Rewards Silver membership. Cellular Telephone Protection can reimburse the eligible Hotels.com Rewards Visa Credit Card cardholder for damage to, theft of, or involuntary and accidental parting of a cell phone. This is supplemental coverage not otherwise covered by another insurance policy (for example, cell phone insurance programs, or your homeowner’s, renter’s, automobile, or employer’s insurance policies) and may be applied after all other insurance is exhausted. Reimbursement is limited to the cost to repair or replace your original cell phone, less a $25 deductible with an allowable maximum of two paid claims per 12-month period. Each approved claim has a benefit limit of $600. This benefit does not cover cell phones that are lost (i.e., mysteriously disappear). This protection is only available when cell phone bills are paid with an eligible Hotels.com Rewards Visa Credit Card. The coverage does not apply if the cell phone bill is paid from a Wells Fargo Debit Card, Wells Fargo Business Credit Card, Wells Fargo Commercial Card, or from a card that is linked to a Line of Credit. Eligible cell phones are the lines listed on your most recent cellular wireless service provider’s monthly billing statement for the billing cycle prior to when the incident occurred. Electronic failure or issues related to the software of the device are not covered. Cellular Telephone Protection coverage begins the first day of the calendar month following the payment of your first cell phone billing using your eligible Hotels.com Rewards Visa Credit Card, and remains in effect when you continue to charge your total monthly cell phone bill to your Hotels.com Rewards Visa Credit Card. This protection may not be equivalent to or better than other applicable coverage. Call your cellular provider (or sign on to their website) and request to set up automatic payments. Setting up automatic payments is not required to qualify for the Cellular Telephone Protection; however, you need to pay your monthly cell phone bill with your eligible Hotels.com Rewards Visa Credit Card to get up to $600 protection.
The redemption value of a reward night is based on the average value of the 10 stamps you collected. The value of each stamp excludes taxes and applicable fees. In addition to paying taxes and fees on your redeemed night(s), you must pay the difference if you choose a room that costs more than the redemption value of your reward night.
