6/10 Good

Not a great location in Portland. Hotel staff was friendly enough but not overly helpful. The area is rundown. We witnessed homeless people using drugs on hotel property on multiple occasions. Disappointing since we’ve loved Portland over the years and had good luck at this hotel. Not worth the money, and would not recommend.

The room was very nice. It was on the 11th floor. However, the view was not great. It stated harbor view but it was a view of the back bay area. The breakfast was really good. Very fresh fruit and friendly, attentive staff.

8/10 Very good

The location of the hotel is very good, and the room had a big desk and some drawers that worked well for our 5-night say. The big negative was the hot water. Apparently the building (closer to the parking building) was an add-on, and the hot water needs to come from the other side. It literally took 5-10 min of just running the water, on the hottest setting, and waiting for the temperature to change from cold. Imagine how much water is being wasted because of this hotel.

I frequently stay at this property. It is a very clean property with kind and helpful staff and an excellent restaurant and spa. I was locked out of the next door parking garage and Dan (door man?) helped me get my car out. He ran out there in the freezing cold, called the garage mgmt and got me out. Dan deserves a raise.
