My husband and I are retired and travel extensively. Hotel Floren is wonderful! Great location and our room was large, clean, comfortable and quiet. The concierge / reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We were there for 2 weeks and Claudia, Mauro, and Ludvico helped with reservations, sightseeing, and arranged for a doctor to come to our room when my husband needed a quick evaluation and medication. Outstanding! The morning breakfast buffet is amazing and the staff is great including Mariana, Alessio, Georgia, and Rita. They made us feel like family. We can’t wait to return to beautiful Florence and visit our new friends at Hotel Floren.

Hotel was great. Being just a 5 minute walk from the train station is absolutely perfect. Another 5 minute walk and you’re at the Duomo and right in the heart of the city. The rooms weren’t the biggest but clean and tidy and the shower was amazing. Tea/coffee facilities in the room were good. Air con kept the room lovely and cool - the soundproofing was good so you couldn’t hear the road outside (apart from ambulances). Staff were very friendly at all time. Breakfast was lovely and staff very attentive. Hotel gave out a free “Signature Cocktail” voucher on arrival which was a nice touch, however on trying to redeem it we were told it was “just a soft non-alcoholic drink” 😂 ...why bother?!?! Checkout was efficient.
