rooms are way smaller than they appear—but we were happy with it (didn’t need much, just a place to sleep). hall noise is not buffered, so you may be kept up at night by other guests. they do give earplugs to help with any traffic noise. my friend was electrocuted by the hairdryer. they were accommodating for early check in, and the location is perfect for any metro or sightseeing needs you may have. Walgreens is right next door. staff are all great and friendly.

My first time staying at the motto downtown Chinatown. Let me tell you what an amazing place it is. First and foremost we were greeted by two lovely ladies at the front desk who upon hearing it was our birthday immediately gifted us with a $40 certificate for the upstairs rooftop. Thank you Lizette and Sophia so much for making our birthday special. I truly recommend this hotel. It’s location is excellent with great food nearby. The room was large and clean. We had an amazing DJ Saturday night at the rooftop with its stunning views. You won’t be disappointed when you stay at this hotel. It’s priced for value and delivers excellence.

I liked the friendly staff. I liked the very comfortable bed in room 913. It was a very small room but honestly for me. It didn’t matter . However, for two people it would’ve been too small. If you stay in this hotel, make sure you sit with your evening beer or wine glass on the 11th floor restaurant.
