This place has a wonderful Grand Old Hotel feel to it, The town is only a short walk away and the included hotel breakfast is quite good and bountiful with plenty of hot protein options. We found our room to be overly warm (common in Iceland) but they gave us a fan and it helped a lot. All of the staff we encountered were welcoming and friendly.

Would stay here again! This was a fantastic hotel for our trip around the Ring Road. The style was beautiful and charming, the toiletries (including the Dyson hairdryer in each room!) and mugs/espresso machine were fantastic, and the breakfast was unmatched. Highly recommend!

room is small, but I was aware of it in advance. But there is no wardrobe as the room is small, which is understandable. But they are not too smart in not putting more hooks on the wall so that at least I can hang my clothes. Other than that, the location, condition of the room, etc are good enough for the time. Love the style of this hotel. We actually got an unexpected room… it was the top floor so the ceiling was actually slanted as it was the roof of the building. We hit our head a few times, but it was so unique for us that we didn’t mind. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. Breakfast the next morning was the best we’ve had and was included in our stay. We loved the variety. Parking was right in front of the building as well and easy to access. Overall would stay again!

Hótel is amazing. Loved the design and cosy feel of the hotel. This is by far the best hotel we stayed in all week. We done the ring road so have stayed in a different hotel each night. You can walk to many restaurants as well. Will definitely come back to this hotel. Great breakfast as well.
