If you go to Bangkok you need to stay at the Shangri-La. The room was beautiful with great water views. The breakfast buffet was amazing it catered to all needs. The staff were so helpful. I would go back to Thailand just to stay at the hotel again.

Very efficient and friendly staff. Not many know English, more than a few words and sentences, but they smile and understand anyway. In the reception though they speak English. Comfortable room and very nice bed linen. Clean room and good AC. The rooms in the wing (a bit away from Shangri-La-wing are quite dated. The public areas of main building are beautiful. All of the above. Great breakfast variety. Good service. Hotel is located in a good location on the river. Boat shuttle service to the Iconsiam mall was very convenient. Staff was very helpful. The premises were spotless. We enjoyed our stay very much.
