Eclectic hotel with a hostel feel…breakfast was bountiful and delicious…family suite was spacious and funky. Parking was easy and very convenient to downtown and airport.

We had a great stay in this family run hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and we also enjoyed a simple 3 course dinner which we enjoyed. We had a soak in the outdoor hot tub which was a bonus

Great hotel! Was right down the road from shops and dining. Beautiful view and adorable decor. Staff was super kind and helpful and breakfast had many options. The rooms did get quite stuffy/ warm and there were no fans/ air. We opened the window, which helped, however the nice weather outside (yay) made the inside quite warm. Overall, would stay again!

Very old and out dated property. Water from shower and bath sink smelled bad. The only aspect that could revert the negative was Ira, the front desk attendant, who went above and beyond! Infrarred Sauna and lounge furniture around is disgusting. Property must be remodelled and be up to the standards of surrounding hotels.

Disappointed
We picked the hotel because it sad it has quiet rooms. We get room 005 and the room above us were draging around furniture or something late at night for about 2 hours. And whenever someone flushed the toilets it sounds like a big warerfall.
So if you can, pick another room.

The hotel was great. Quiet. The Sauna was good. The hottubs were fine, but no jets. Breakfast was hearty and fresh. Location is fine but not really in walking distance of dining options. That being said, it was a quick drive to the center of the city with some great dining options.

It’s okay hotel but looking at the price (Iceland is generally costly anyway), I would hesitate to stay here again as the bathroom wash basin sink was smelly; there was no restaurant in site for the dinner available; was told that the restaurant opens for the dinner only for a travel group and if there is none, then the restaurant is closed which makes inconvenient for the family as this hotel is away from the main city centre area; fine if you have your own car. Breakfast is okay but very limited hot breakfast.

The hotel caters for large coach parties. We couldn’t find a breakfast table so we had to come back later. Our room was small & looked out onto waste land. The hotel is a long way out of town, beside the airport. However, the price was affordable & a decent breakfast was included.
