This is an excellent and legacy property. Have stayed here many times and it’s just absolutely amazing. The pool is lovely and the gardens are inviting. The cafe and restaurant are very inviting with music in the evenings.

Best Place in Lucknow
Amazing service. When I approached Monika for a mask, she asked me what was wrong. I mentioned that one person of our group had a cold/flu, she offered to send Kadha up to our room. This was delivered hot and soothing within minutes (free of charge of course). This ws much appreciated. The rest of the staff were also super courteous and helpful.

Pricey and Bland
It is one of the better hotels in the city, however it can be quite expensive. As a Taj property it does offer the excellent hospitality that you get at any Taj.
However as a hotel, it is a little underwhelming. Compared to other Taj hotels the decor is almost non existent in rooms so when you immediately walk into the room it does feel a little cheap. However the bed is comfortable and there is a pillow menu for you to get exactly what you need for a good nights sleep.

Seriously, this hotel needs updating. The rooms are very tired. The first night I was bitten by mosquitoes on my face. Even Aisha at the travel desk noticed. It’s not equal to the Taj at Mumbai. It’s the staff that give this hotel respect. We had Hussain as our driver and he couldn’t do enough. He knew Lucknow inside out. We enjoyed out stay only because of him. Aisha was very helpful also. Than you Hussain and Aisha for making our stay memorable.

Great hotel but a couple of avoidable lapses in se
Overall the property is good, ambience. What bothered us is the service. We have specific food requirements and despite clear instructions, the In-room dinning served wrong food. They verbally apologised but did not offer any alternative. Next day morning while checkout the staff didn’t even bother to ask / say sorry. This is unlike Taj. We have seen that the hotel managements have unique ways of apologising to an upset guest. But here there was not even any intention. Felt sorry that it was a Tata Comoany.
