The hotel is reasonably comfortable for its purpose. Somewhere to stay and plenty of facilities on site to keep children entertained. The room was reasonably clean but we made the mistake of patting one of the decorative pillows which produced a lovely cloud of dust. The hotel itself feels very dated with patches of repairs showing on doors and walls. The staff were fairly friendly and helpful when asked questions. Our son enjoyed the swimming pool and soft play which was all included.

The 'Aviemore' hotel block is dated but despite this the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. We used the pool with our kids however the water was very cold and we didn't stay long. The whole resort has plenty to offer and is good for a family stay but it could do with some areas being refreshed soon.

Hotel is a great place and location. Fantastic pool and rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. Hotel interior feels a little dated now and would benefit from a light refresh, carpets especially . Overall recommend d a stay.

Slightly dated hotel and rooms. The pool area with slides was the highlight of our trip. The price of the breakfast at £25 pp seemed stiff for the quality of the food.

Like other reviewers have said, this hotel could do with some serious love and refurbishments but otherwise it’s a perfectly nice place to stay. Beds were comfy. And kids loved the pool and playground. The hotel itself looks a little like a prison but if you can get past that then it’s fine. Fire alarm went off one day when I was battling a migraine and ended up being a false alarm which was a bit annoying. They also don’t offer daily room servicing unless you ask and even then they only dump clean towels in your room.

Room was spacious and bed super comfy, bathroom was a bit dated but the shower was decent and the elemis shampoo/shower gel smelt amazing! Pool was a good size! Sauna was nice and hot, beware of the steam room it was burning!! It has a spa pool and not a jacuzzi so don't expect bubbles!! Electric chargers weren't working at our hotel but we managed to use the chargers behind the other hotel Overall a good stay and good location for town centre

Stayed for the weekend with the family (2 adults & 2 kids aged 8 & 6). Room was a good size and clean. Great amenities on site - playpark, cinema, swimming pool, soft play & amazing pizza at the resort's Italian restaurant.

Nice place

We were on a long drive home from the North Coast to Edinburgh and decided late to give up and spend the night in Aviemore. This was perfect, lovely hotel, great service, excellent filling breakfast included. And perfect location for heading up to the Cairngorm Mountain Railway the next day.

We stayed for a couple of nights for a family getaway. The hotel was really nice, well maintained and needs we're comfy. Breakfast was good. The pool was a little smaller than expected and not very warm, but our 2 year old loved it

Excellent location, liked the concept with plenty of options for dining across the resort and good was good. Resort had good leisure facilities, shared with all accommodation within the complex. Location is ideal for families. Property consistent with type of hotel and age. Beds were very comfortable. Staff pleasant.
