Our stay at The Lana Dorchester Collection was simply exceptional. Every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome and the service felt personal, never staged. We stayed in a Junior Marina View Suite, and the views from the balcony were breathtaking. And honestly, relaxing in the bath while taking in the Burj Khalifa light show is an experience we will never forget. The team at High Society were outstanding, warm, attentive, never intrusive. Before our arrival, I mentioned I was planning to propose, and the team quietly helped make it perfect - preparing the room, arranging an intimate table, handling everything with real care and discretion. That moment will stay with us forever. What impressed us most was how passionate the staff were. They spoke about their work with genuine enthusiasm and it shows in every little detail. By the end of our stay, we both said we’d never felt so relaxed. If you’re after true, world-class hospitality where service feels heartfelt rather than transactional, this is a place that sets a remarkably high standard. I was impressed by the elegance and refinement of The Lana, Dorchester Collection Dubai — truly exceptional hospitality throughout my stay. My visit fell just days before my birthday, and during breakfast at Riviera I was unexpectedly surprised by the maître d’, Nanouka, with a specialty from the menu, a candle, and a Riviera keepsake. It was a thoughtful gesture, perfectly aligned with the hotel’s understated style. What made the experience even more meaningful was a conversation about music. After learning I enjoy classical music and play the piano, Nanouka mentioned the Georgian composer Giya Kancheli. When I shared that I enjoyed his work but couldn’t find piano scores, she independently followed up with links to several of them — a rare level of attentiveness. Special thanks as well to Renel at the Concierge desk for his professional and attentive assistance with my travel arrangements. Outstanding experience in every sense.

Lovely property, great rooftop pool. The only let down was the food service at the pool as well as the food itself and the attendance at the hotel entrance - no greeting or assistance with cars/taxis. I expected better from the Dorchester collection.

Our stay at The Lana was a lovely experience overall. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, very clean, well maintained, and has a truly luxurious atmosphere. The rooms are impressive, extremely spacious, beautifully designed, and very well kept. The pastry shop at the hotel is definitely a highlight and a must visit. The quality and experience there were excellent. However, for a hotel of this level, we felt that some details in the guest experience could be improved. The pool area was quite crowded, the water felt warm and unclear, and there was almost no shade available for hotel guests. The toiletries in the room were also disappointing compared to the standard expected from a luxury hotel. The biggest area for improvement is service consistency. There seemed to be many staff members, but sometimes the organization and communication felt unclear. During breakfast, simple requests such as ordering an espresso could take a very long time. I would especially like to mention Giulietta, one of the waitresses, who was absolutely wonderful. She was professional, attentive, kind, and genuinely helpful. She was the one person who truly stood out and made us feel well taken care of. Overall, The Lana is a beautiful luxury hotel with amazing design, excellent rooms, and a great pastry experience. However, we felt that more attention to small details and a stronger service culture are needed to create the true “wow” factor expected from a hotel at this level.

We arrived early and were warmly welcomed by Sayyed at the front desk who graciously upgraded us to a stunning suite on one of the top floors and arranged a late checkout for our convenience. Every detail of our stay was handled with care, from the luxurious room interiors to the seamless Rolls-Royce airport transfer.
