Our Superior room was great! Room was very large and had a seating area. Had a direct view of Kirkjufell Mountain! The property itself features a communal kitchen for guests to use for cooking and refrigeration needs. Property is located 2-3 minutes from Grundarfjörður and offers quick access to local dining and shopping needs. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.

The location is fabulous … easy to find and a side (not ‘the’ side, is magnificently in front of you. When you arrive a piece of paper with your room number is taped to the reception door - with parking instructions. Our two bedroom apartment was spacious and warm. The view from our room was slightly obstructed by another building built in front. The couch/sears are ok but not optimally placed for the view. The best part … the location, the most annoying - the front door lock.

Located just a few minutes from town, and the main parking areas for viewing Kirkjufell, this guesthouse is in a great location. I had a first class view right from my window. My room was incredibly clean and larger than I expected. Many guests made use of the community kitchen, while I was just happy to be able to get coffee onsite in the morning.

Lodging options in this area are limited, so we really appreciated the convenience of how close Kirkjufell Guesthouse is to key attractions. Having access to a kitchen and fresh coffee in the morning was also convenient and made our stay better. The beds are not the most comfortable, but we were so exhausted from sightseeing that it didn't impact our sleep at all. The location is beautiful and I appreciated having a deck and living room as well.
