Farm-country comfort by the glacier

Set on a working farm in southeast Iceland, this guesthouse keeps things simple, warm, and family-friendly, with big views of Vatnajökull. Days revolve around the bright dining room and its veranda seating, plus a steady supply of farm-made Jöklaís glacier ice cream. When night falls, low light pollution and an open-air hot tub set the scene for Northern Lights watching.

We have stayed in this hotel for 2 days because of our planned glacier and ice cave tour in Jokulsarlon. The hotel is clean and the staffs are very nice. The breakfast was good and enough. They also have a small kitchen available for the guest to prepare simple meals. The room is bright and warm, with private shower/bathroom. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.
