The cabin was awesome!! Beautiful setting close to the hot tub, sauna and cold plunge pond and stream! The stream ran right behind the cabin and you could hear it in the bedroom. Large rooms and very clean well equipped kitchen, nice living room and dining room. Large porch with chairs. Just beautiful!!! Only one downside, no curtains or shades in the kitchen and dining room and back door had window with out curtain or shade so walking around required clothes. Otherwise it was one of the best places we stayed in Iceland.

We really enjoyed our hotel apartment, especially the common space living room, kitchen, and dining space. Since we had the both rooms to ourselves, the common spaces are basically ours. The kitchen utensils and pots are pretty complete a den really cozy. They also have a fridge that you can use to store food. Each room is just sufficient enough for 2 people and the bathroom is also clean. The hotel also has breakfast options. Definitely a hidden gem!

We had a family room with shared bathroom. The bathrooms were clean and spacious and the kitchen was well maintained. There is a communal living room and TV by the kitchen as well. The hot tub is large but can get busy in the evenings. Highly recommend walking the lava trails around the property. Our children loved the playground as well. Overall a good stay, we did not try the restaurant as the prices were pretty high. The nearest grocery store is 30 minutes away so stock up before you arrive.

The room was clean, in our shared bathroom I never had a problem, it was large and clean. The food was delicious, the lamb was the absolute best. The only thing I would recommend is a better shower curtain in the shared bathroom at ommuhus since people on the street can see into the shower. Overall the hotel is a great option! Very quaint and welcoming, but not too rustic haha

This was our favorite place we stayed at while visiting Iceland. The staff and property were wonderful. Rooms were spacious and well-stocked. Very comfortable beds and amenities. There was nearby hiking, a playground, a hot tub, and a pond on the property. We loved seeing the sheep that roamed the property. The food was excellent, especially the lamb and wine! We would have adjusted our trip schedule if we had known how much we would love the property. I highly recommend staying at this resort and hope to visit again soon. Our place also had a laundry machine, which was very useful. Very clean rooms and a well-maintained property. The staff was really great, and we enjoyed talking with them.

We stayed here for one night as we toured through Iceland. I wish we had longer, as the property is pretty with sheep roaming around. It was fun to hear "baaa" outside of our windows during the night! The common area was sufficient for our family of four adults. Parking was next to building, and sidewalk was smooth to roll suitcases to the end unit. The ~24 hrs of sunlight gave us extra time to see the sights as we passed through, This place is incredibly quiet, and I felt guilty making noise as we came in at midnight and left early the next morning. If your crowd is rowdy, it is something you may want to consider. We did not get a chance to try the restaurant, and I was sad that it didn't work out. Everything looked wonderful. Everything was beautiful and clean, and we would stay again on our next trip through Iceland.
