I must give it a 10 out of 10. We came for architecture and the thermal bath and of course not disappointed. We stayed at the House of Architects. Though the room is compact, it is nicely designed and enjoyable to stay. My partner came 30 years ago ( this year is the 30th anniversary of the thermal bath ) and find the facilities look like new and it is so well kept. On top of the different baths, there are many tiny rest rooms each with its unique characters. Must try. My other friend came this hotel 6 times for hike and bath. Now I know why. Definitely will come back !

Lovely stay, clean room, enjoyed access to spa morning and evening. Room is minimal but nicely designed, some of the lighting buttons were confusing and one button was slightly faulty. Room would be improved with some coat hooks within the lobby area (stayed in Ando room with spacious lobby), or a sideboard or shelf, somewhere to put things as you come in. There wasn't a cushion to sit on by the balcony as in pictures. A kettle would also be useful.

The House of Architects has super easy access to the Spa and our room was really comfortable and a great design experience also all the staff were really friendly and welcoming . We didn't dine in the restaurant the vibe was a bit too formal for us. The town of Vals is also a lovely area to walk around and further up the valley the reservoir has great views.

Wie erwartet ein sehr schönes Zimmer von T. Ando gestaltet. Dass es sehr klein war und keine Sitzmöglichkeit hatte, wussten wir und nahmen wir in Kauf. Der Preis von CHF 480.00 ist recht stolz, aber man konnte dafür die Therme ohne weitere Kosten besuchen und auch der Parkplatz war inklusive. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wer Kunst mag, wird diese Unterkunft lieben. Die Zimmer im House of Architects sind mit vielen Ideen ausgestattet, die man entdecken kann. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein, weswegen wir keinen langen Aufenthalt in dieser Kategorie empfehlen würden. Das Essen im Haupthaus ist hervorragend, das Hotel Personal sehr zuvorkommend und professionell, die Therme einzigartig. Die Architektur des Haupthauses spricht für sich, auch wenn alle Häuser für den Laien nicht konsequent umgesetzt wurden (so wurde zum beispiel für unseren Geschmack das Treppenhaus noch zu stark in der Ur-Form gelassen), was aber sicherlich so geplant war. Die Therme sollte nicht fotografiert werden, haben aber leider heute Morgen direkt einen gesehen, der sich nicht dran gehalten hat. Leider sehr schade, da wir finden, dass man den Wunsch des Hotels respektieren sollte.
