Me and my family had a great experience. It's a great hotel specially when traveling with kids, good infra and activities towards toddlers and kids. Special shout out to the staff, absolute stellar service and care. Nice hotel with lovely staff and great facilities. It is showing its age and a little tired in some areas since our last visit 7 years ago. The hotel has changed hands and in new ownership. Pool and most areas were very clean and tidy. Dining options are limited and expensive so we dine elsewhere but the breakfast was plentiful and fresh.

Very quiet, relaxing and nice open spaces. We had a suite with patio/terrace and it was so nice - a great interior space with a mini kitchen with high end appliances and a giant exterior terrace with lounge chairs. I'd say the only negative was the truly terrible pizza at the on-site pizza restaurant. But that's easy to skip by driving up to Monchique for better food.
