I discovered this place almost by accident a few years ago when I needed to travel to the Minneapolis area on business. Right away, I knew I'd found my Minneapolis Hotel. It has character, it is well run, and the staff are wonderful. I give especially high marks to the on-site restaurant, which is delightful enough to warrant a visit even if you aren't staying at the hotel. I think it's a winner.

Only issue was no one to help w the luggage upon arrival and departure. Bar folks helped us w an informal gathering of friends.
