Expedia needs to improve their booking process.
We arrived after a days drive hoping to surprise our kids with a hotel room, unfortunately Expedia's ebooking system hadn't got the reservation to the hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful, and did find us a room at last, and the room itself was clean and comfortable though not as big or well-kept as the one we'd booked. This happened after quite a bit of hand-wringing all around, as well as far too much lip service from Expedia. That said, once we got through to someone who could put things right he did very well for us. The most important lesson: speed up your communication with the hotels you work with, Expedia!
