Excellent
The people I met were friendly, helpful and very positive. The Caen Memorial Museum IS enthralling. I spent one day there, went on their tour to Omaha beach and the American Cemetery and spent another half day there later in the week. A great place.

The tour of the D-Day Beaches through the Caen Memorial Museum was excellent. The museum itself is incredibly informative and engaging.

Great restaurants. Always take a moment to visit the cathedral, and the men's /women's Abbies. The Caen WW2 museum was also worth the visit. A well displayed summary of the great conflict.

Caen Castle was mostly closed for renovations. The old town is nice, but parking was difficult.

"the hotel has a great location - right across from the train/bus station, which was convenient for me. the area is not the greatest though, as staff has to let you in (to block questionable people from entering). overall, I had a good stay"
