The first room I was given was not great, it had a spa bath, but the rest if the room was out dated, furniture in desperate need of a renovation, and the elevator does a loud drone sound that you hear from the room. After a hour I went back to reception and said I will leave the next day, I was not impressed. I was offered a upgraded room for a extra $20 per night that I was shown first, this was the furtherest point on the level from the elevators, this room was much better. But after 3 days that elevator can still be heard. This building is in need of refurbishing, but it was ok. Not was I expected from a company like Rydges. You also have to pay a extra $10 per day to park your car, and it can take up to 15 mins for the gate to open, if there is not a staff member at the desk, they can't press the button to let you in. In all I would say this hotel is ok, but I probably would not stay there again. But the staff were friendly, the room service by food was amazing, and the veiws and roof top pool and spa we're fantastic.

The hotel is an odd collection of positives and negatives. The room was comfortable, but had only a small desk and chairs with no comfortable relaxing chair to sit in. The bar was clean and bright, but had the most uncomfortable bar chairs I have ever found. Breakfast was hearty and plentiful, and the breakfast staff were terrific. There was a micro-exercise room at the top, with a couple pieces of equipment and a pool as well. The pool was open to the air so likely pretty cold during the winter. There is a laundry available, with probably the only two comfortable chairs outside it in the whole hotel. You do have to pay for parking, and the parking gate is a bit difficult to use. Free WiFi was a plus! The price on Hotels.com was what sold us.

It was a short quick stay, so not much to say. Location was good, and we managed with parking. Parking had been advertised as 5 dollars, but they'd since increased rate to 10. I objected, and the desk clerk did wind up charging 5 since it was 5 when I'd reserved the room. (Leaving Australia the next day, I only had $6.80 at that point, so I'm glad it worked out.)
