We had such a lovely stay in this cozy cottage. There is a terrific bakery steps away and a two grocery stores just around the corner. We had no trouble with the self check in and check out. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed and the appliances all worked well. The 'deer' third bedroom is up some very steep and small stairs, so just be cautious of that. It is all well decorated with the animal themes and the beds were cozy to sleep in. The price for three nights is a bit steep, but I did see that the price per night seemed to drop the longer you stayed, so keep that in mind.

This is a lovely cottage and the location is great. We had a fantastic stay in Windermere. However, be aware that the street parking is only for an hour and so a paid carpark is needed, not free parking as advertised. I messaged Sykes Cottages about this issue twice and received no response so communication was unfortunately a problem. The cottage was also in the process of being cleaned when we arrived, despite this being after the check-in time.

The house was clean, spacious, fully furnished with everything we needed, and is located in a perfect spot right next to a store and near the train station. Our only issue was that the toaster did not work, and we weren't able to get any help when contacting the owner, however all of the other appliances were in good condition and we had no issues cooking. We had a really good time and would certainly consider this place again if we return to the lake district. Do note that one of the three bedrooms is only accessible through a narrow stairway, which wasn't a problem for us, but could be an accessibility issue for your group.
