Mr. Josef put us in room #1. This had the absolute best view. He greeted us with such warm hospitality and service. The room was perfect, with each little detail thoughtfully put together The breakfast each morning was so delicious and freshly cooked. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place and the view, and the service.

Behind the charm offensives of the hotel management, beware of the misrepresentations intended to bilk your money without you receiving the promised value. The "private terrace" that came with a 50% premium in room price was in fact not private. The hot air balloon ride sold by (and represented to be "owned" by) the hotel that was promised to have only 10 to 12 persons in the gondola in fact was packed with 20 persons, leading to serious safety and comfort issues. On the positive side, the hotel does have a good view over the town of Goreme , and the manager did recommend a couple of good restaurants in town.

I liked it
We stayed in the shared bathroom room, and it was a bit of a walk to the toilet... other than that I thought the place was affordable and enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent and I liked the staff. The location was close to the viewpoint and subsequent hiking apparatus... Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

Fantastic experience staying in a cave! Comfortable room. Friendly, helpful staff. They will book you any excursion you need. Great view from the terrace. Short walk to all the shops and restaurants. Decent breakfast. Resident kitty ready for some attention!!

Excellent value
We had a fantastic stay at Cave Life Pension. They picked us up from Kayseri airport for an extra $25 TL each, set us up with a hot air balloon ride with an excellent company, a great tour of the Derinkuyu underground city and Ilhara valley, a night of Turkish folk and belly dancing and to top it all off, a Hamam! Travel was provided to and from all of these events. Ibrahim and Mustafa were very courteous hosts, and the location was very convenient to many of the great sights in Cappadocia. I would stay there again, it was a great value. A great breakfast spread is included and you cannot beat the sunsets from the terrace. Just know that this is a two star hotel, accommodations were clean and comfortable, but do not expect the Ritz.

Almost like camping, good price, staff not so nice
The place was almost like camping. The breakfast was good. Shared bathroom ok. The main issue was the staff that was not so nice or friendly. If you don't mind them and want to save money then it's ok. I personally would rather pay more for another place.

The hotel staff is incredibly helpful! The location is great and I would go back in a heartbeat. Also, the view of goreme is awesome. Only a short walk to the main square (though there is a big hill, so be prepared).

예쁜 테라스가 인상적이며 조식도 나쁘 않음. 싱글룸을 예약했는데 패밀리룸을 줘서 공용 샤워장과 화장실을 쓰지 않아도 돼서 편했음.. 그런데 패밀리룸이 전체적으로 너무 큰데다가 추워서 긴팔옷을 몇개나 껴입고 자야했음. 특히 동굴의 눅눅함이 느껴지고 뭔지는 모르겠지만 벌레에 물리기도 함. 아마도 그 눅눅함이 원인인 듯. 그러나 직원들이 친절하고, 특히 멋진 일몰과 야경을 감상할 수 있음..
