On a trip with my son to visit the beaches of Normandy for D-Day as well as Mount Saint Michael, St-Malo, was perhaps one of the closest villages. It also had the peace and quiet of the countryside yet just within a 45 minute drive of all of these beautiful historic sites along scenic country roads.
The B&B is comparable to a very well run boutique Hotel. It is a historic looking building with beautiful stone work inside, except everything has modern amenities and has been completely redone, but respecting the character when travelling.
The rooms were very large with a beautiful decor as if you had walked into a Magazine.
The breakfast was a filling breakfast with an assortment of foods.
Richard and Veronique were helpful and available for any needs.
The rooms and showers had lots of hot water, modern and very clean.
The beds were very comfortable better than hotel, with great style. The beds did not make any sound, which was great.
There are lots of local restaurants and food ranges from all tastes.
The local church is a historic building. They ring the bells at 7 AM and 7 PM every day. You can only hear them if you open your windows.
Richard and veronique have built a beautiful garden in the back with tables and chairs and almost anything you could possibly want to relax and read a book.
Wifi is very fast.
I want to come back.
