Vintage shops and eclectic boutiques line the streets where Santa Fe Trail markers remind you of the neighborhood's frontier roots. The area shines brightest after dark when restaurant patios fill up and bars get lively. Most spots stay open until the wee hours, especially on weekends. Kansas City Marriott Downtown
"Clean room, comfortable bed. Friendly staff."
Holiday Inn Kansas City Downtown by IHG
"The room was nice. Only one elevator was operable. That made leaving the upper floors a bit of a wait."
The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center
"Convenience,friendly interactive an knowledgeable staff"
Orangewood Inn & Suites Kansas City Airport
"Hot tub needs jets. Right now, it’s just a large bathtub"
Hilton Kansas City Country Club Plaza
"Staff was very nice, helpful and approachable."
Best Western Plus Kansas City Sports Complex Hotel
"So close to the parks, very convenient! One of the best included breakfast areas with PLENTY of tasty options! Literally one of the best compared to other like-priced hotels. Hot water/shower pressure was great. Microwave, fridge, AC were all clean and worked well! My main issue was that I arrived during a rain storm and the parking lot is long and not many side entrances, so I had to walk a bit in the rain after parking."
Red Lion Inn & Suites Kansas City
"When I arrived to hotel it did look very sketchy from the outside but once u walked in, it was very nice and clean I always make sure the bathroom and shower is clean before I even set up in the room and everything was very clean and nice The breakfast was also very good Fluffy biscuits, sausage and gravy mixed , scrambled eggs or poached eggs, bacon and sausage patty’s , yogurt station , cereal and your usual morning beverages But I do feel the 100$ deposit was a bit much especially for one night Most hotels I stay with only require 50- 75 and are way more nicer then this place But for anyone wanting to stay here I do recommend just be aware of the 100$ deposit"
Hotel Savoy Kansas City, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
"Beautiful hotel and would stay again. Told it was a former art museum. Staff were all helpful from front desk, restaurant, room service, and valet parking. Short walk to free street car (trolley) station to hop on/off and tour downtown KC."
InterContinental Kansas City at The Plaza by IHG
"Great vibes throughout the hotel. Amazing live music in the evenings and a perfect pool vibe."
