"My room was adequate, nothing special - could use an update, as everything was older. The bed was ok, gave a good number of pillows, which was nice! Shower had the cold/hot flipped waited a while for the water to warm up and then tried it differently and it worked. The AC was not loud, so I had to shut it off when sleeping. I didn't try the breakfast or pool. I needed to store my luggage there as I didn't fly out until later in the day, found it odd that the staff just gave me a key card to let myself into the storage room with everyone's stuff, thankfully nothing was taken but it didn't seem secure. "
"I was a little apprehensive when I read a review (after I had booked) about a complain that the hotel was outdated and dingy. I didn't find that to be the case. The minute I pulled up to the curb - Deadrick took care of me and by the time I made it to the front desk, Ebony had my stuff all ready to go. The room was nice and clean. No complaints here. It was a great stay, would stay again. "
"Stayed at The Read House Hotel and had a great overall experience. Check-in was quick and staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The common areas were inviting with nice private nooks. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and modern but the shower design did get the floor wet easily.
The bed was comfortable, but there were no extra linens for the pull out. When we called, they only brought a sheet and couldn’t find a blanket. The pool was clean and nice, but not heated (personal preference) and the waterfall made it pretty loud.
Overall, I’d stay again!"
