What is the offer?
Hotels.com and Capital One have joined forces to bring you extraordinary rewards on your hotel stays! Capital One Venture® and VentureOne® cardholders can earn unlimited 10x miles (10 miles per dollar) on eligible bookings at hotels.com/venture through January 31, 2020.

How do I take advantage of the offer?
To take advantage of the offer, go to hotels.com/venture and pay with your Capital One Venture or VentureOne card (payments made through PayPal are not eligible). If given a choice, select the "Pay Now" option at checkout. You must pay at the time of booking to earn 10x miles.

Do I have to book at hotels.com/venture?
Yes, to earn 10x miles, you must book through hotels.com/venture.

What if I don't have a Capital One Venture or VentureOne card?

What bookings are eligible for the offer?
This offer is open only to Capital One cardholders with a United States-issued Venture or VentureOne credit card that is open and in good standing. To participate, use your Capital One Venture or VentureOne credit card to make an Eligible Booking at hotels.com/venture by January 31, 2020. You must pay online at the time of booking to earn 10x miles. Any lodging option where payment is received at the property is excluded from the offer. 

This offer is presented by Capital One and Hotels.com, so using any third-party extension or service (e.g. Ebates.com and similar websites) in conjunction with your booking will make your booking ineligible for this offer.

This offer is not valid for: bookings made by phone or the Hotels.com mobile app; bookings for groups; bookings that include flights; and bookings where payment is made at the property.

Can I combine this offer with Hotels.com promo codes or Secret Prices? 
You can combine Hotels.com promo codes and Secret Prices with this offer, but using any third-party extension or service (e.g. Ebates.com and similar websites) in conjunction with your booking will make your booking ineligible.

ELIGIBILITY

Can I make a reservation for a stay that occurs after the offer end date?
If you pay at hotels.com/venture on or before 11:59pm CT on January 31, 2020, you will earn 10x miles. For example, if you book and pay on January 15, 2020 for a trip that begins on April 1, 2020, the booking will earn 10X miles, assuming your booking complies with the Program Terms.

I don't have a Hotels.com® Rewards account. Can I still get the 10x miles?
Yes, you can book on hotels.com/venture with or without a Hotels.com Rewards account, but we recommend signing up so you can take advantage of the Hotels.com Rewards program. With Hotels.com Rewards, you can earn a free night for every 10 nights you stay. Read more here.

I am a Hotels.com Rewards member. Can I get 10x miles and accrue Hotels.com Rewards?
Yes, you can book on hotels.com/venture with or without a Hotels.com Rewards account, but we recommend signing up so you can take advantage of the Hotels.com Rewards program. With Hotels.com Rewards, you can earn a free night for every 10 nights you stay. Read more here.

Can I still get 10x miles if I use a Hotels.com gift card or redeem a Hotels.com free night?
Use of a Hotels.com gift card or Hotels.com Rewards free night will be deducted from the booking value and only the remaining amount paid with a Capital One Venture or VentureOne credit card is eligible for the 10x miles.

Which Capital One Cards are eligible to participate in the 10x offer?
Capital One customers with either a United States-issued Venture or VentureOne card open and in good standing are eligible to participate. No other credit card (Capital One, or otherwise) is eligible for this offer.

I made my booking on hotels.com (not hotels.com/venture) – will I still get this offer?
This offer is only available on hotels.com/venture, so if you made your booking on any other page (or through the Hotels.com® mobile app), it will not be eligible. If you’re still within your cancellation window, consider rebooking – you can check availability at hotels.com/venture. Don’t forget to bookmark hotels.com/venture for future bookings!

GETTING YOUR MILES

When and how will I receive my 10x miles?
The 10x miles earned through this offer will be posted within two billing cycles from when you’ve paid for your stay with your eligible Venture or VentureOne card on hotels.com/venture. Please note: the regular miles you earn (2 miles per dollar with Venture, 1.25 miles per dollar with VentureOne) may post to your account before the remaining miles you earn through this offer.

If I cancel my reservation, do I still get the 10x miles?
No. If you cancel your reservation, your miles balance will be adjusted to reflect the cancellation.

What happens if I need to modify my reservation?

To manage your reservation, please use hotels.com/venture to ensure that you earn 10x miles on your modified reservation. If you change or modify a booking, you will only receive Venture Miles for the modified booking if (a) you make the modification via the hotels.com website and (b) the revised booking meets the requirements set forth in these Program Terms. Any modifications requiring a cancelation must be re-booked online at hotels.com/venture. Modifications to your reservation may affect the miles you earn.

Will I earn 10x miles if I charge incidentals or other expenses to my room?
No, you will only earn 10x miles for eligible bookings made at hotels.com/venture.

VENTURE AND VENTUREONE CARD GENERAL INFORMATION

How do I earn rewards?
With a Venture card, you will earn 2 miles per dollar on net purchases (purchases minus any credits or returns) only. With a VentureOne card, you will earn 1.25 miles per dollar on net purchases only. Cash advances, balance transfers, and checks used to access your account are not considered purchases and will not earn rewards. With both Venture and VentureOne cards, you will earn 10 miles per dollar at hotels.com/venture.

Will my rewards ever expire?
Your rewards are yours for the life of the account—they will not expire. But if your account is closed, you will lose any rewards you have not redeemed.

Is there a limit to the amount of rewards I can earn?
There is no cap to the amount of rewards you can earn on purchases.

What types of travel purchases are eligible for miles redemption?
Purchases made from airlines, hotels, rail lines, car rental agencies, limousine services, bus lines, cruise lines, taxi cabs, travel agents and time shares are generally considered to be travel purchases and availability for redemption is based on the merchant category code assigned to them by the merchant. Capital One is not responsible for how merchants assign these codes.

Can I redeem my rewards for something other than travel?
You can also redeem your miles for cash in the form of a check or account credit, gift cards and more. Rates for these other redemption options vary and are subject to change without notice. As an Accountholder, you can enroll in online servicing at Capitalone.com to see a complete description of current redemption offers.
