There are a few other changes you should know about as an Expedia Rewards member:
Your existing Expedia Rewards points will be converted into OneKeyCash and will be automatically transferred to your new One Key account. We will honor the existing value of your Expedia Rewards points when converting them, so 100 points will become $1.00 OneKeyCash. The expiration date of your Expedia Rewards points will be retained as they are converted to OneKeyCash.
You will still be able to access booking information, make changes, or a cancellation through the same apps and websites using the same account you used to make your booking.
We want to give you a head start, so your current Expedia Rewards tier status will not only be protected, but we’ll take into account even more of your travel bookings to determine your One Key tier status. We will make sure any eligible activity in 2022 and 2023 (up to the launch of One Key) across your Expedia, and Hotels.com, accounts counts toward your tier status, and that your tier status is upgraded accordingly. *Note: The email address across your accounts must match for your activity to count. “Eligible activity” means a US dollar booking made from an Expedia Rewards, and Hotels.com Rewards (while signed in), account: 1) For Expedia Rewards, an activity that would have qualified for a trip element in accordance with the Expedia Rewards terms in place before the launch of One Key, and 2) For Hotels.com Rewards , a completed stay at a property of more than $25 (excluding taxes and fees and any discounts or reward nights applied) per night stayed.
For 2024, any trip elements collected in 2023 before the date you become a One Key member will count toward your 2024 status. This includes any trip elements collected in 2023 before One Key launches the date you become a One Key member from eligible activity on Expedia and Hotels.com. be migrated to your One Key account, counting toward your 2024 status.
Going forward, tier status will be earned on a calendar year basis, from Jan 1 to Dec 31. Your status for the upcoming year will be determined according to the number of trip elements you have collected by Dec 31 and your progress will reset as of Jan 1.

There are a few other changes you should know about as a Hotels.com Rewards member:
All reward nights you have collected will be converted into OneKeyCash at their full value and automatically transferred to your One Key account. The expiration date of your reward nights will be retained as they are converted into OneKeyCash. If you have rewards in a different currency, they will be automatically converted to USD before you join One Key.
Currently you can only unlock the value of your stamps when you have collected 10 stamps to earn a reward night. We understand some may be on the way to collecting 10 stamps so we will also award 10% of the value of each stamp collected in OneKeyCash. These will be automatically transferred to your One Key account and will retain their current expiration dates.
You will still be able to access booking information, make changes, or cancellations through the same app/websites using the same account you used to make the booking.

You can continue to use your Hotels.com credit card even after we transition you to One Key and the value of the rewards you earn from credit card purchases will remain the same. You will be able to redeem your rewards not only on Hotels.com, but also on Expedia and Vrbo.
You can continue to spend on the card, and for each $500 spent you will earn $11 OneKeyCash that you can redeem on Hotels.com, Expedia, or Vrbo. Also, you no longer need to wait to get 10 stamps in order to start redeeming your rewards. One Key Cash is not redeemable for cash and can only be used for Expedia.com, Hotels.com and Vrbo.
If you have earned but not yet redeemed your introductory reward nights by the time we transition you to One Key, they will automatically convert into the equivalent value of OneKeyCash.
Your membership level will be determined by the overall program rules. If you were automatically upgraded to Hotels.com Silver membership via the credit card, you will retain Silver status with One Key as long as you’re a cardholder.

If you are a credit card holder on a non-US version of Hotels.com, before you become a One Key member your account will be transferred to the US version of Hotels.com where you will earn and redeem rewards in USD.

Important note in case of deletion requests and ongoing or upcoming trips: If you have an ongoing or upcoming trip and ask us to delete your account, our Customer Service teams won’t be able to answer any questions, concerns, cancellations, refunds, etc. This is because when your account is deleted, our Customer Service team will not have your deleted account information anymore. Therefore, they may kindly ask you to re-submit your deletion request after your trip is completed. In addition, please find some options below to help with this issue:

App: Log into your account on your Expedia app and go to Profile > scroll down and click on ‘Delete account’.
