How to get to Escondido

Thanks to its proximity to San Diego, you can easily hop on a flight to San Diego International Airport, and from here it takes less than an hour to travel to Escondido by car on I-15. Alternatively, the SPRINTER train runs between Escondido and Oceanside where you can connect to other services such as Amtrak. If you’re arriving from Los Angeles, it takes around 2 hours to drive to Escondido down I-15. Once you’ve arrived you’ll find that travelling around the city is easiest by car, although there is a local bus service for those that prefer public transport.
