"Friendly and understanding and helpful staff. We arrived way before check in time and they were so kind to hold our bags while we were out and about. Every time we needed anything for our bags we had to bug a lady to give us our bags but she gave them to us with a smile and did not complain! Now that is great service!"
"This hotel should be shut down. It is in desperate need of an update. There were holes in the furniture, layers of dust all around the lobby and on the chairs that were in the room. The lobby is taped off with yellow tape, furniture in the lobby is old, scratched and has holes. The pictures on Expedia are very deceiving!"

"I had a really great experience staying at Generator Miami. The property is in an excellent location in Miami Beach, just steps from the ocean, which made it very easy to enjoy the beach and explore the area. The hostel itself is very clean, modern, and well maintained, and it has a really cool, social atmosphere without feeling overcrowded.
The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the stay and made check-in very smooth. One of the highlights of the trip was that we were given a complimentary upgrade from the Junior Suite we originally booked to a Superior Junior Suite. That was a really nice surprise and made the stay even better. The upgraded room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with plenty of room to relax after spending time out on the beach.
The amenities and common areas were also great, and the overall vibe of the property made it feel more like a boutique hotel than a typical hostel. It’s a great option whether you’re traveling solo, with friends, or as a couple and want to stay somewhere close to the beach without spending a fortune.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay and definitely great value for Miami Beach. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend Generator Miami to anyone looking for a fun, clean, and well-located place to stay."
