Close by is the Czech and Slovak Educational Center and Museum. How to get to Central Omaha


Central Omaha is within driving distance of several nearby cities—Des Moines is 2 hours away down the I-80, while from Kansas City it's a 3-hour journey along the I-29. Most visitors coming from out of state, though, will arrive at the Eppley Airfield Airport. Travel to Central Omaha from here using public transportation is possible, but the links aren't particularly well-integrated and it can take more than an hour on the bus. By car, the journey from the airport to your hotel in Central Omaha is likely to take less than 20 minutes—first on Cuming Street, then Saddle Creek Road south, before you take a right onto Center Street, the district's main east-west drag.
