"The Royal Sonesta is on a beautiful beach with a nice pool area. The rooms were comfortable and well taken care of by staff. My one issue I was disappointed with was the meal options. The buffet for breakfast was average at best and the lunch options were nothing to boast about. Fortunately, the Fairmont next store had several quality dinning options which I enjoyed as an alternative during my stay."

"The hotel is near everything so that’s the good thing but the hotel is not well maintained, property is old and dirty. Although, housekeeping is full of nice ladies willing to help you. Rooms are not soundproofed, you can hear airplanes are day long and more at night."

"This is the hotel I stay every time I visit the island. I love the staff and the place is kept nice and clean. It’s easily accessible to the airport and Piñones and the car rental I use which is Charlie’s aka ACE. Location is great! "

"had a 4 night stay here and absolutely loved it. would definitely book again. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. the beach is a 3 minute walk from the hotel, but a straight shot. the hotel provides beach towels. rooms were well cleaned and maintained. i loved the open concept of the hotel and the pool was beautiful. would definitely book again on my next trip!"
