"An OK spot to crash while waiting for a flight. Several issues - bedroom bathroom door did not close, the shower head spray only had one option which literally hurt to get directly sprayed, rusty towel rack in the shower, leather on the chairs was peeling away, tv in our room had burned in spots which must have been from a menu screen over years of being turned on, pool was quite cold, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful which was the only part I would consider above average. If you don’t care about the issues I listed above then it’s fine. It’s nice and close to the airport. But it definitely isn’t a great place to stay. "

"There is no drinking water. Guest have to walk a long way from the room to the office. There is no continental breakfast as posted. They had a grab and go packet which was offered to guest upon request at the hotel office. This hotel is over hyped and is no where closer to the 8.2 rating. That rating is deceiving. On the scale of 10 I would put this hotel at 5."

"Friendly and understanding and helpful staff. We arrived way before check in time and they were so kind to hold our bags while we were out and about. Every time we needed anything for our bags we had to bug a lady to give us our bags but she gave them to us with a smile and did not complain! Now that is great service!"

"This hotel should be shut down. It is in desperate need of an update. There were holes in the furniture, layers of dust all around the lobby and on the chairs that were in the room. The lobby is taped off with yellow tape, furniture in the lobby is old, scratched and has holes. The pictures on Expedia are very deceiving!"

"I had a really great experience staying at Generator Miami. The property is in an excellent location in Miami Beach, just steps from the ocean, which made it very easy to enjoy the beach and explore the area. The hostel itself is very clean, modern, and well maintained, and it has a really cool, social atmosphere without feeling overcrowded. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the stay and made check-in very smooth. One of the highlights of the trip was that we were given a complimentary upgrade from the Junior Suite we originally booked to a Superior Junior Suite. That was a really nice surprise and made the stay even better. The upgraded room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with plenty of room to relax after spending time out on the beach. The amenities and common areas were also great, and the overall vibe of the property made it feel more like a boutique hotel than a typical hostel. It’s a great option whether you’re traveling solo, with friends, or as a couple and want to stay somewhere close to the beach without spending a fortune. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and definitely great value for Miami Beach. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend Generator Miami to anyone looking for a fun, clean, and well-located place to stay."
