"Room view is gorgeous and we got to enjoy sunrise right on our patio. Staff was very friendly. Room is a bit dated but well maintained and not run down. Unlike said in some reviews, we found the breakfast a pleasant and tasty experience with good selections including fresh bakeries, cold cuts, hot meat and eggs, fruits and beverages. Free parking is a plus. Will definitely consider coming back next time in Nerja!"

"Our first time at the Riu Monica, we were not disappointed, very friendly staff who were all keen to help. Excellent location alongside the beach, a short stroll into the main old town of Nerja. Good food options with buffet breakfast and dinner. Drinks very reasonably priced."

"We have just returned following a lovely long weekend in Nerja. 5 ladies travelled for a girls mini break. We had 2 bedrooms in Hotel Toboso Chaparil. A double and a triple room although the double also had 3 beds. The hotel is in a excellent location. Only a short stroll to beach and main town square/area. The main town is all pedestrianized so no cars. Cars are allowed on road outside hotel but you wouldnt even know as it was so quiet at night even with one of our rooms at street level. The...
