Right now, life seems like a series of faddish coping mechanisms—we’ve had a fall of “Quiet Quitting,” a “Goblin Winter” and a short-lived “Brat Summer.” All well and good, but maybe it’s time for something splashier: Hear us out, but maybe the real solution to feeling stressed might be what we’re officially terming a Duck Day. 

Essentially, this involves learning from nature, and giving yourself over to a soak in sud-filled water. No plans, no sudden movements, no phones (sporadically emitting a low, plaintive sigh is optional). Cancel your plans, settle into the water and be more duck.

Look for a supersize tub, luxury products, impressively high water pressure, and a window view. A long, leisurely daytime bath is the kind of stress-busting indulgence that hotel stays were made for. So, leave dry land behind, fill the tub to the brim, break out the bubbles, and settle in for a soak in a bathroom fit for a feathered friend.
