At check-in told pool was not working (not on hotels.com site but claimed it was on hotel site). Front desk said we could go and swim in the sea (water temp is only 62 deg F)! Barking dog in breakfast restaurant! Crib set up for 14 year old child and only 2 towels when booking was clear on ages and number of guests. Front desk called to ask if there was a fire in the room because computer registered an alarm. No fire and no alarm in room - surely the room alarm should have gone off if the system registered? Front desk did not believe us and came up to ask again. Hearing no alarm they returned. Is the alarm system working - glad we did not have to find out

BEWARE. Never, in thousands of hotel stays over the past 40+ years have i been charged to check in early for an available room. This is the discount airline of hotels. 25percent extra to check in at noon vs three pm. Then extra to pay in local currency vs hard currency -they said they would add tax - is this a tax scam? BEWARE!
