Great access to food in fukushima. Nearly right off the station so we could go anywhere quickly. The hotel itself was fairly nice and the free laundry was convenient as we were staying in japan for multiple weeks.

What I liked about this hotel is the proximity it has to public transportation - in particular to the JR-West train station. We never had to use a car / taxi to get around because the train would help us get to wherever we needed to go. There are also very good restos nearby that one can just walk to from the hotel. The hotel staff was friendly and also helped my wife and I get an upgraded room that provided better spacing. With regards to the amenities though, I have to say there aren’t that much.

The rooms are small, even by Japanese standards, but cleverly fitted out. All modern fixtures are provided. We stayed ten nights, and the free self-serve laundry was appreciated. Cleaning was generally very good, although when we arrived an item of clothing from the previous guest was found in the luggage space under the bed. Location is excellent, very close to Fukushima JR station on the Osaka loop line (just one stop from Osaka station), and with numerous good restaurants and a good supermarket close by.

Beautiful hotel with great food options nearby
This was a gem of a location. Close to some very good restaurants. Very walkable area. The station is very close by too. The only thing we had an issue with was the heat, but it was also partly our fault for not operating the ac correctly. That being said, the LED on the AC when you have it on is pretty bright, would be nice to have a way to dim it.
