Great hotel in central Porto location
Great hotel and very central location. There is building work related to the Metro station nearby but it didnt trouble us during our stay. Excellent rooms and service. Would stay here again.

The hotel room is very nicely decorated with heritage, well equipped with nice appliances & amenities. The staff are also super helpful & friendly. I was planning for a taxi pick-up & they helped me to call the driver who only spoke Portuguese. They also sent email prior to my arrival & reminded me during check-in there’d be constructions nearby with unscheduled time during days & nights, meaning 24/7! Very caring. It ended they’re right that the constructions did happen days & nights besides few hours of lightening…(even during the Holy holiday in Portugal)… The hotel itself is fantastic, just you may be aware the long (since 2021 till 2025) construction works in the city center which make everything inconvenient, both walking & driving. But Porto is not big, most of the areas are within walking distance. If you don’t mind walking a bit, it’s perfectly a nice place to visit with good food, good wines (Port wines), deep histories and most importantly, great people!

Unfortunately, when I stayed here May 10-12, 2023, there was subway construction going on throughout the night right outside my window, making sleep difficult if not impossible. Otherwise, the facilities were quite nice and the breakfast was excellent. Three of the four staff members I interacted with were very friendly and provided exceptional customer service. However, one staff member, whom I asked for directions, seemed exasperated when I did not know where a certain store was located (This was my first time to Porto, and I had been there less than 24-hours.) It was an awkward and uncomfortable moment for both me and her colleague at the front desk. Great location (other than the subway construction noise.)

Another gem for us! We booked the top floor and omg! Amazing .. HUGE deck. Room was nice and modern. Unfortunately there’s a significant construction project happening next door and it is loud. The girl at the front desk (Marta) was super straight forward and offered us loads of options if we decided to not stay. With the windows shut, it was hardly noticeable and at night there was no noise when we were there. Parking is nearby. My advice , contact reception when on way. Very helpful staff.
