Convenient location
Staff helpful in giving as quiet a room as possible as per request. As Rydges is actually inside the Airport building, it is very convenient - especially for a 4am check-in! Fairly quiet considering planes are flying all around.

Can't be more convenient - you don't even have to go outside to get to the airport. A good choice of dining, a small but well-equipped gym and everything as clean and neat as a pin.

Great location Poor Customer Service
Short stay due to NZ Air flight cancellation and they did not comp us for the room. TV did not work properly and when I called Reception for help the phone rang 25+ times or more with no answer and then went to busy. When I immediately called back the phone was busy. I tried calling several times and it remained busy. This is the 2nd time I"ve stayed at a Rydges and the Reception desk staff is terrible, lazy and not customer service oriented. This is the LAST time I will stay at a Rydges hotel. Their staff is not trained to be service oriented.

Good chill hotel before an early flight
Nice quiet hotel. Convienient in-terminal access to airport. Good gym. Room was not as booked on arrival (twin rather than king) and reception sorted out within 10min. Only (minor) complaint would be that the topper on the beds was way too boofy which (boofiest) that I have ever experienced which made it almost hard to sleep. Way better than any other Wellington airport hotel.
