Lovely Hotel but no food.
Really nice hotel with stunning interiors and grounds. Lovely rooms, had everything we needed and the massive bed was extremely comfortable. Only downside was there is no food. Arrived ready for a nice lunch and was told they don’t do meals any more and the breakfast is continental only….. This was a massive disappointment and I wasn’t made aware of this. Breakfast was good quality but disappointing considering the cost of our stay, it’s really not good enough for the price point.

Very nice grounds and gardens and lovely old buildind, but a bit dated, no lift only stairs, no fridge in room, no usb connections in room for charging, windows difficult to open during hot weather, no air con, good breakfast, you would expect more for the room rate, we would stay again.

Wonderful Stay!
This is my second visit to the hotel...an absolute pleasure! The staff are very friendly and help in everyway. So nice to stay in a privately owned hotel...Helen(the owner) should be be proud of the hotel and her staff! I wish them all a lovely busy Christmas and a Happy New Year!
