Great for solo travellers
Fantastic stay. The staff here couldn't be more accommodating. Compared to British standards; could do with more updating but compared with Cambodian stardards it's pretty high.

Over priced by
This is quite a good hostel / hotel but it was shockingly over priced on your web site. A basis room nothing except a bed with its own shower and toilet, was $33 aussie dollars worth maybe at a push $20 if that. I was amazed and shocked when I saw what I had paid for . Up side the room was clean, the staff were lovely and the main areas were very groovy. I just know if I had if just gone there and got the same room it would of been so much cheaper than what charged

Stay away unless you can handle bedbugs
Booked for 2 nights in the dorm pods. Only stayed for 1. Was bitten by bedbugs. I gave this hostel a "good" rating in the hopes that it would be more visible for others to see. I left on the second evening when the bites became apparent (they take about 12-4 hours to show up). I have experienced a bedbug problem a few years' ago at an apartment building and I know too well what they are and hard they are to eradicate. However, they have access to stronger chemicals here and could take of the problem if they chose to. Search the reviews for "bedbug" on all of the other travel sites too. Plenty of reviews about this but buried in the negative ratings where most don't go. The hostel has a track record of blaming the victim and denying responsibility. Just look for yourself and decide. The dorm pods are in an A/C room and have fans. They were actually very comfortable. However, the hostel plays a trick on all of the backpackers. They turn off the A/C at 4:00 a.m.. for a few hours hoping most won't notice. The pods quickly become sweltering boxes. Another guest confirmed that this is a regular thing. And no, there was no power failure in the hotel. And no tripped breakers for the A/C. The load on the A/C is actually the lowest at this time. Guests finally woke the watchman and he turned it back on... Nice. And now wait for the long winded victim blaming response from the hostel... I
