The neighborhood is great, on top of a hill with fantastic view of Tana, fresh breeze, close to Palais de la Reine. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. There was an issue between the hotel and Expedia that complicated payment. Had to pay hotel directly, then get reimbursed from Expedia. It worked out okay but it would have been nicer without the complication.

A pleasant and affordable stay in Tana
While the hotel is clearly worn and in definite need of renovation, the staff was friendly and the accommodations were comfortable. While a/c was not available, my room fan was more than sufficient to keep things cool for my October stay. Great WiFi; satellite TV; hot water (and water pressure) and a comfy bed too. Anyone over 5'10" (175cm) had better learn to duck or you will be hitting your head constantly on the various door frames throughout your room. My room also had a split level between the sink and the shower that could be a tripping hazard for some. As for the w/c, it is the size of an airplane toilet, so if you're a bigger person, that may be an issue as well. All that said, the staff were attentive and the restaurant served a respectable meal.

Great service!
I bought the stay for some friends of mine. They were very happy with the hotel and especially with the service. The breakfast was really good and more than enough for two people. The only thing was that they had to remind them that two people need two towels etc...
